Thermally Broken Aluminium-Wood
with Slim Profile M7
Minimal profile, external protection and the warmth of wood inside.
M7 is the MOSCA slim thermally broken aluminium-wood system, designed for those who want a window that is minimal in line, bright in perception and warmer in its relationship with the interior.
It builds on the technical base of M6 and reinterprets it as a slim-profile solution, where reducing the visual impact of the window gives more space to the glass, natural light and continuity between inside and outside.
Its identity comes from the meeting of external protection and interior quality: aluminium protects the window from the weather, while wood enhances the lived-in side, bringing the window closer to the language of furniture and interior architecture.
M7 is suited to private homes, villas, hospitality venues, professional premises and architectural projects in which the window must be technical towards the outside, warm towards the inside and light in its overall perception.
It is the solution for those seeking an advanced window: slender to the eye, high-performing in structure, elegant indoors and reliable over time.
ONE SYSTEM for M7
M7 incorporates ONE SYSTEM, the MOSCA design system applied to slim thermally broken aluminium-wood windows.
In M7, ONE SYSTEM works on two levels: the technical precision of the system and the integration of different materials. This is particularly important because M7 takes the technical base of M6 into a slim configuration, where every detail becomes more visible and must be orderly, controlled and consistent.
The system addresses the most delicate points of the product: profile cutting, joining of materials, corner sealing and finishing, sealing gaskets, ventilation, drainage, glazing retention, assembly control and continuity of finishes.
The benefits are tangible: a cleaner look, more precise finishes, better-finished corners, better integration between aluminium and wood, a more elegant interior appearance and a lighter overall perception.
In an aluminium-wood window with a slim profile, the quality of detail becomes decisive: the window must deliver technical performance, but also enter the space with discretion, warmth and design consistency.
For architects, designers and dealers, it means being able to offer a solution that is both minimal and tactile. For the end client, it means choosing a window that is bright, elegant and able to relate to the interior.

Design
Slim profile and interior material
The slim profile is the defining feature of M7, but in this version minimalism is neither cold nor purely technical.
Reducing the visual presence of the window leaves more room for glass, light and continuity with the outside. The interior wood adds balance, making the window warmer, more tactile and better integrated with the interior design.
M7 is suited to contemporary projects, high-quality renovations, private residences, hospitality venues and professional premises in which the window must contribute to the identity of the room without weighing it down.
The result is a window with a discreet profile but a recognisable presence: essential in line, natural in its interior feel, precise in construction.
Material
Aluminium and Wood
M7 combines two materials with complementary functions.
On the outside, aluminium helps protect the window from the weather and contributes to system stability and long-term durability. It is the material that allows the window to keep a clean, precise and contemporary image towards the outside.
The aluminium profiles are made from AW 6060 alloy, chosen for its strength, durability and reliability. The 45° mitre cut and corner sealing contribute to construction accuracy and the quality of the finished product.
The way the profiles are machined promotes micro-ventilation and drainage, improving the window's behaviour over time. Finishes can be anodised or powder-coated, with colour customisation available.
On the inside, wood changes the perception of the window. It adds warmth, material depth and a more natural presence, able to relate to the floors, furnishings, wall finishes and surfaces of the room.
The wood finishes are applied with water-based products. Wood and aluminium are joined by swivelling nylon clips, a solution that brings the two materials together while maintaining precision, stability and aesthetic care.
This combination produces a window that is technical and protective towards the outside, yet welcoming and refined towards the inside.
Insulation
Thermal break and ABS bridge
M7 takes the technical features of the M6 system and applies them to a slim thermally broken aluminium-wood configuration.
The thermal break reduces the transfer of heat and cold between outside and inside, improving indoor comfort and the building's energy efficiency.
The thermal barrier is formed by 35 mm rigid AlfaPro ABS profiles with a linear, tubular shape. The aluminium profiles are joined to the insulating profile mechanically by rolling.
In a slim system, where the profile keeps a reduced visual presence, the ABS plays a key role: it works inside the structure of the window to improve insulation, reduce heat loss and contribute to the system's consistent performance.
The thermal break is further enhanced with PlamaFrame polyurethane material, inserted into the cavities of the insulator and beneath the glass. It is a technical component inside the profile, designed to improve the window's thermal behaviour.
The choice of glass allows the window to be adapted to the needs of the project: thermal insulation, acoustic comfort, security, brightness and energy performance.
M7 is therefore a solution suited to residential, hospitality and professional buildings in which minimal aesthetics, comfort and quality of materials must coexist in the same product.

Performance
M7 is designed to deliver performance in line with the technical base of the M6 system, from which it takes its main construction features, adding the aesthetic and design advantage of the slim profile.
The configuration combines visual lightness, comfort, sealing, stability, insulation and interior aesthetic quality, while preserving the dual nature of the system: aluminium protection outside and the warmth of wood inside.

Customisation
M7 can be customised to the aesthetic and functional needs of the project, with different treatments outside and inside.
On the outside, the aluminium can be configured in colours and finishes designed to blend with different façades, elevations and architectural settings.
On the inside, the wood builds a more direct relationship with the identity of the rooms, enhancing furnishings, floors, wall finishes and natural materials.
Working with a slim profile makes customisation even more important: every finish must be clean, consistent and well integrated with the design of the opening.
Thanks to the ONE SYSTEM approach, customisation is not just about colour but also about the final quality of the product: neater surfaces, better-finished corners, more controlled assemblies and greater consistency between profile, glass, wood and finish.

Light
Enhanced glazed surface
M7 is designed to give greater prominence to the glazed surface, while keeping a strong focus on the interior quality of the window.
The reduced sightline increases the perception of natural light and creates a more direct relationship between inside and outside. The presence of wood makes this relationship softer and more welcoming, so the window is not perceived as a purely technical element.
In living rooms, bedrooms, suites, hospitality spaces, offices and architectural projects with large openings, M7 creates a sense of greater spaciousness, brightness and visual continuity.
The window thus becomes a bright, tactile frame: it protects the space, welcomes the light and enhances the character of the interior.
Sealing
Gaskets
M7 takes the gasket configuration of M6 and integrates it into a slim-profile solution.
The system uses EPDM and TPE gaskets, materials chosen for their elasticity, resilience and long-term reliability.
It features three rebate gaskets, a threshold insulation gasket and internal and external glazing gaskets.
The correct integration of profiles, gaskets, glass, hardware and the joining of materials helps counter water infiltration, draughts, outside noise and the weather.
In a slim-profile window, careful assembly is even more important: the visual lightness of the window must be backed by precise, controlled construction.
This configuration helps improve air, water and wind tightness, increasing indoor comfort, protection from the weather and system stability.
Central rebate seal
AlfaTwinPro
A strength of the M7 system is the central rebate seal, taken from the technical base of M6 and integrated into the slim configuration.
The central rebate seal is made from a rigid co-extruded tubular ABS profile of the AlfaTwinPro type, mechanically applied to the frame profile before cutting and completed during assembly with a co-extruded EPDM gasket.
This technology helps improve production times, sealing quality and finishing precision, making the window more stable, better finished and more reliable over time.
Transparency
Glazing
M7 makes glass the main element of the window, without giving up the tactile quality of the interior side.
Reducing the visual impact of the profile increases the perception of the transparent surface and creates a more direct relationship between inside and outside.
The system can be configured with high-performance glazing, chosen according to requirements for thermal insulation, acoustic comfort, security and brightness.
Laminated low-emissivity safety double glazing with argon gas and a black Warm Edge spacer is available.
The system can also take triple glazing, raising the window's performance without giving up a clean, elegant design that is light to the eye.
M7 can take glass up to 44 mm thick.
Mechanics
Hardware
The hardware contributes to the functionality, security and durability of the window.
In a slim-profile window, the quality of movement and of the locking points must work in harmony with a clean, minimal design.
In M7, the mechanism must also integrate with the dual nature of the window: the external protection of aluminium, the interior quality of wood and the precision of the whole.
The system is designed with air gap 12 and centre distance 13 parameters, ensuring quality of operation, stability and reliability.
The window moves smoothly and with control, while the locking points contribute to overall security and sealing.
Concealed hinges can also be specified for a cleaner, more minimal look, including in configurations with a low threshold.

Sustainability
M7 approaches sustainability through efficiency, durability and quality of materials.
A well-designed window helps improve the building's energy performance, reduce heat loss and increase indoor comfort.
Aluminium is a durable, recyclable material, suited to protecting the window over time. Wood adds a natural, tactile element, making spaces more welcoming and enhancing the interior quality of the home.
For MOSCA, sustainability means designing windows built to last, maintaining their performance, reducing unnecessary interventions and contributing to the overall quality of the built environment.
