X2 is the MOSCA aluminium shutter with a rounded profile, designed to protect interiors, regulate natural light and complete the façade with a soft, balanced and timeless design.

Its more classic lines make it suitable both for private homes and for professional, hospitality and contract projects. It is a versatile shading solution, suited to new builds, renovations, villas, homes, hotels, B&Bs, company premises and projects led by architects, designers and dealers.

Available with adjustable louvres or fixed oval louvres, X2 lets you choose the level of screening best suited to the project's needs, combining protection, ventilation, privacy and aesthetic quality.

The rounded profile is the distinctive feature of X2. The curved geometry of the leaf creates a softer, more traditional visual effect, ideal for those who want an elegant, harmonious shutter that blends into a variety of architectural settings.

In a residential setting, X2 enhances the façade with a balanced, recognisable presence. In professional and hospitality projects, it offers a solid, durable technical solution consistent with buildings of a classic, Mediterranean or contemporary character.

The adjustable louvre version allows light and air to be regulated even when the shutter is closed. The fixed oval louvre version, on the other hand, offers stable, continuous screening with a compact, orderly and functional look.

X2 is made from rounded profiles in EN AW 6060 aluminium alloy, a material chosen for its strength, lightness and long-term stability.

It is a side-hung system with a frame depth of 45 mm. The standard version features a frame with a 33 mm flange, designed to ensure solidity, integration and clean aesthetics.

Its aluminium structure makes X2 particularly suitable for exterior use, thanks to its weather resistance, durability and low maintenance requirements.

X2 can be configured according to the size of the window opening and the functional requirements of the building.

The side-hung opening type applies to one- or two-leaf shutters, for windows and French windows of standard sizes.

For larger openings, a folding opening type is available for three- or four-leaf shutters. This configuration makes the shutter more practical to operate and adapts better to façades, French windows and larger design contexts.

X2 can be made with different bottom rebate solutions, designed to suit the technical characteristics of the project and the installation method.

Configurations are available with a band system, a hinged-leaf system and a perimeter-frame system. These variants allow the shutter to be integrated correctly with the window, the masonry and the needs of everyday use.

X2 can be completed with accessories and components designed to improve functionality, practicality and security.

Available options include louvre operation by lever or rotary control, adjusters and wall rails, band system with bottom brush seal, espagnolette bolt, handle or double handle with lock, standard hinges and various optional solutions such as a hinge with a 38 mm extended neck, a flush strap hinge and an offset strap hinge.

The ability to configure accessories, operating mechanisms and hardware means X2 can be adapted both to the needs of the end customer and to the technical requirements of designers, contractors and dealers.

X2 is available in selected stock finishes and, on request, in a wide range of colours and treatments.

Stock finishes include RAL 9010 matt, RAL 6005 Grinz, RAL 8017 Grinz, Renolit Cherry and Renolit Walnut.

On request, you can choose from the full RAL range, matt and Grinz RAL, sublimation finishes and powder-on-powder finishes. This variety makes it possible to coordinate the shutter with windows, entrance doors, façades and other architectural elements, for a harmonious, customised result.
